Build the bridge

Partnerships for a lasting homecoming.

CYWEP leads the initiative with AFROAC as program design, operations and delivery partner. Additional sponsors, institutional counterparts and ambassadors are announced only after written confirmation.

Government & institutional collaboration

The public brochure proposes collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism, Culture & Arts and Togo Tourisme: official recognition, site coordination, accredited guides, cultural introductions, arrival coordination and destination visibility. A proposed first-phase USD 50,000 grant is a request, not confirmed funding.

Private partners

Partnership opportunities span hospitality, air travel and ground mobility, connectivity, banking and fintech, heritage and culture, and media production. Cash and in-kind support can help deliver the experience and community legacy.

Local voices and governance

A proposed advisory council brings together a historian, cultural custodian, tourism professional, youth representative, production lead and diaspora representative. Its role is to guide cultural content, consent, safeguarding and impact reporting.

A responsible annual platform

The public program proposes growth through annual editions, northern journeys, education and youth exchange, genealogy and diaspora business dialogue. Expansion depends on readiness, funding and community agreements; future cohort sizes are targets only.

Planning and feasibility

The feasibility study is a desk review, not a guarantee of delivery. Hotel and transport proposals, institutional support, a local coordinator, site checks, legal review and anchor funding are needed before the full launch. Dates and contributions remain unconfirmed.
